Hunter makes it to Baton Rouge

Justin Hunter had hoped that the opportunity would present itself and he would be able to take a trip to LSU in the near future. On Thursday night, the standout receiver from Virginia Beach, Va. received some good news, and 24 hours later he was in Baton Rouge.

“We were hoping we could make it happen and me and my coach were able to make it in for the big weekend,” Hunter said.

The big weekend for Hunter (6-4, 185, 4.49), who is not only a standout on the gridiron but also in track and field where he competes in the high jump, long jump and triple jump, will be able to kill two birds with one stone. The 3-star wide out will get to see LSU’s spring football game on Saturday and also take in the LSU Alumni Gold Track Meet on the same day.

“That was one reason we wanted to make it in this weekend,” Hunter said. “LSU is one of the few schools that offer the opportunity to compete for championships in both sports.”

The activities for Hunter will get started early on Saturday morning and he said he’s looking forward to a big weekend down on the bayou.

TigerSportsDigest.com will have more on Hunter’s visit, as well as all of the recruits that will be on campus this weekend.
