On his past season….. “Senior season went well. We ended up losing in the first round of the playoffs, but I was satisfied with my performance. I could have attacked the ball more instead of sitting back and waiting for the reads. Once I get to college I don’t think I’ll miss it.”

Three-sport athlete….. “I did track and basketball. In basketball we lost in the second round of the playoffs. In track I went on to win the state championship in the shot put. I enjoyed both of them, but football was my main thing.”

On leaving high school….. “I’m moving on to bigger and better things. There will be more chances to get seen. I don’t think I’ll miss it. I think I may miss Friday nights, but at LSU I’ll have Saturday nights.”

Less exposure at Red River….. “We were 2A, about 300 people there. I really didn’t get seen until my senior year at an LSU camp.”

Logan’s recruiting experience….. “My favorite part was going on the visits and seeing different schools. I didn’t like everyone calling me and trying to get me to do this and that.”

Did another school have a chance….. “Alabama came in late. They didn’t know much about me because they didn’t have film on me. They just had highlights. I wasn’t going to go there when they didn’t know anything about me.”

Why the purple and gold….. “It was the place I always wanted to play. When the decision came, there was no question on where I wanted to go.”

Offseason workouts….. “It’s going good. I talked to the players when I went down there for spring break and basically I just need to run. Coach Moffitt’s weight program will get you strong. You just need to come in shape. I’ve just been running to prepare myself.”

Will his size stack up on the d-line….. “In high school I was just as big as the offensive linemen. In college the offensive linemen are going to be more physical, but I don’t think it will be a problem for me.”

Logan’s test scores….. “My ACT score is a 23, and my GPA is a 2.6.”

From Red River to the Red Stick….. “I’ll be going on June 5th.  I don’t know my roommates now, but we are supposed to get our rooms June 1st.”

On his best qualities….. “Speed and power. I’ll pursue the ball. I have a nose for the ball. I’m a good trailer.”

Friends on the team….. “I got close to Russell Shepard, Drake Nevis, Brandon LaFell, Charles Scott. I got close to most of them.”

Nickname….. “Big Ben. That’s what my friends call me.”

Does Logan visit recruiting Web sites….. “I used to, but I don’t go too often. I don’t really go on there unless somebody asks me about someone that just signed.”

His favorite celebrity….. “Will Smith. I just like his passion and how he helps people. That’s how I am. I’m a helpful person. He’s a good role model.”

What is Logan afraid of….. “I fear God. He’s my maker and my creator. He can take me out whenever he wants.”

Favorite restaurant….. “I don’t really go out to eat, mainly just home cooking. I can do a little something in the kitchen.”

Favorite pro team….. “I like the New York Giants because of Justin Tuck.”

Goals at LSU….. “I hope to start off good. I want to get on the field and help my team out. I want to win a national championship my freshman year.”
