Justin Hunter had scholarship offers from schools all across the country before he gave Les Miles a verbal commitment on May 10.
At 6-foot-4, 185 pounds and with 4.49 speed, many felt that Hunter had all of the tools to be one of the nation’s top receivers for 2010. However, when it came time for the initial rankings to be released, the Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes wideout checked in at No. 58 in Scout.com’s ranking of receivers due to the fact that there was no junior video.
That problem has been solved as Scout.com has obtained more than nine minutes of exclusive video footage from Hunter’s junior season when he recorded 34 catches for 536 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Hunter’s explosiveness is shown on offense and he also shows big-play ability in the return department as he took four punts back to the house in 2008.
LSU nabbed a good one and Hunter shows why he is one of the country’s top wide receivers for 2010 in this video segment brought to you by TigerSportsDigest.com.
