Davis off to Tennessee

O. Perry Walker-New Orleans receiver Craig Davis (6-3, 185, 4.4) has traveled quite a bit of ground over the last couple of days making official visits to LSU and Tennessee.

Davis could not be reached because he was en route to Knoxville but his mother had a few comments about their trip to Baton Rouge.

"I went with him and I can tell you it was real nice," said Davis' mother Sanedra Berry. "I can tell you it was real nice. The academic center was nice and the coaches were extremely nice."

a Berry said everything she heard about the LSU program was true but it was better than advertised.

"I'm so impressed with LSU," she told Tiger Rag. "I told coach Saban I was so impressed with everything. You know you hear people tell you about it but I saw it first hand. Craig said you can scratch Auburn off because that visit was nothing compared to this one and I went with him to Auburn too."

That could be good news for LSU fans if that is in fact the case because the War Eagles were considered LSU's biggest threat. Miami is next on the horizon with a trip to South Florida set for next weekend and once again the Hurricanes could prove to be the Tigers' nemesis.
