Stringer Chooses LSU

LSU's 2010 recruiting class is now sitting at four verbal commitments after three-star point guard Andre Stringer selected the Tigers on Monday afternoon. has confirmed that three-star point guard Andre Stringer committed to LSU on Monday afternoon.


Stringer, a 5-foot-10, 170-pounder, had offers from USC, Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and several mid-major schools.


As a junior at Jackson (Miss.) Forest Hill, Stringer averaged 25 points a game and hit 61 percent of his shots from the field. He hit 54 percent from behind the arc and 79 percent from the free throw line.


Stringer is the 27th ranked point guard in the country according to and will have more on LSU’s fourth commitment for 2010 soon.
