Boutte (La.) Hahnville is off to a (3-1) start in 2009 – through week 4 – and a big reason for the Tigers success is the running of standout running back Alfred Blue.
Blue, a 6-foot-2, 205-pounder with 4.5 speed, has rushed for 548 yards and nine touchdowns on just 65 carries (8.4 avg.)
Blue, who holds offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and others, got out of the chute quickly by rushing for 119 yards and three scores on 13 carries in a season-opening 42-0 win over John Ehret.
The next week, Blue was more effective on fewer touches, as he ran for 135 yards and a touchdown on eight carries in a 56-0 victory over Sarah Reed. He also added 55 yards on a pair of receptions and he scored both times he caught the ball.
