JaMarcus Russell wraps up LSU's '03 class

Quarterback JaMarcus Russell made it official with TheInsiders.com recruiting analyst Jamie Newberg this evening. As a guest on the regioanl Fox Sports South Network, Russell committed to LSU over Florida State.<br><br>Russell's commitment gives LSU 28 written pledges for 2003.

In his senior season, Russell led Lillie B. Williamson High School in Mobile, Ala., deep into the playoffs with 3368 passing yards and 22 touchdowns. He also rushed for six scores.

Russell received All State honors four years in a row and is the most prolific passer in Alabama history with 10,730 yards and 69 touchdowns through the air.

He joins an LSU signing class with plently of skill position talent. Below is listed the order in which the Tigers received their letters of intent today.
