Buzz Williams and Marquette picked up their fourth 2013 commitment on Wednesday.
John Dawson, of Clovis (N.M.) High, pledged to the Golden Eagles after entertaining interest from Creighton, Texas Tech, Auburn and UTEP. Dawson is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound combo guard. He played for BYC Elite during the spring and summer ball.
BYC Elite coach Michael Clay confirmed the news via Twitter.
Dawson joins a top 10 ranked recruiting class at Marquette. To go with Dawson, Marquette also has top 100 recruits Deonte Burton and Duane Wilson, as well as four-star Junior College power forward Jameel McKay on board.
