Top 2G Jajuan Johnson Declares for Marquette

Accordiing to internet sources, Buzz Williams added another top prospect to his 2013 class when Jajuan Johnson announced that he will attend Marquette next Spring. The 6-5 185 lb prospect from Memphis selected MU over Alabama and Miami. Johnson, the Memphis Southwind shooting guard first showed up on the national recruiting radars as a sophomore when he impressed Scouts

with an excellent shooting touch and range.

However according to scouts and coaches, over the past year, Johnson has become stronger, added explosive athleticism, defensive intensity and the ability to score off the dribble drive.

LAS VEGAS - The first day of games at the LeBron James Skills Academy…[prospects]... such as Jajuan Johnson definitely made big impacts as well.

Jajuan Johnson, SG: There's a lot to like about the young looking shooting guard, who played with terrific energy the entire day. His activity helped him pick up steals on defense and he showed nice elevation on his pull-up jumper. In his second game, he was aggressive going to the basket, finishing some attempts he probably shouldn't have given his physical immaturity. The jumper was consistently falling in the evening as well, while he also made some very nice passes.
