Marquette vs. Grambling State By the Numbers • 114- Total points scored by Marquette. It was the first time since December of 2010 and broke a Bradley Center record for points in a game by the Golden Eagles.

• 76- Points scored in the paint by Marquette. The Golden Eagles tripled Grambling State in paint points and out-scored them 24-16 in second chance buckets and 41-19 in fast break points. For perspective, Grambling State scored only 71 points in the game.

• 64.9- Marquette's shooting percentage in the team's 62-point second half.

• 59- Marquette's bench players scored 59 of the team's 114 total points in the game.

• 52- Number of total fouls called on Tuesday. Marquette was whistled for 24 of the offenses. This was one less foul than in Friday's season-opener against Southern.

• 22- Most minutes recorded by any of Marquette's players on Tuesday. Jamil Wilson and Deonte Burton both logged 22 minutes, while Derrick Wilson and John Dawson each played 20 minutes.

• 10:1- Derrick Wilson's assist to turnover ratio on Tuesday night. Although the junior point guard failed to score and attempted only two shots in the game, Wilson was able to hand out plenty of assists to his teammates.

• 8- Number of Golden Eagles in double figures on Tuesday night. Chris Otule (17), Steve Taylor (16), Burton (14) and JaJuan Johnson (12) led the way in scoring.

• 4- Number of points scored by guards in Marquette's 52-point first half. The guards combined for 2-9 from the field and 0-9 from three-point range. The two baskets were scored by Todd Mayo and Dawson.

• 1- Despite having eight guys score 10 or more points, only Steve Taylor had a double-double on Tuesday night. Taylor scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds.
