Breaking down Marquette-Xavier by the numbers

Marquette was without its leading scorer, graduate senior Matt Carlino, for the second consecutive game and it showed. The Golden Eagles managed to knock off Seton Hall on the road by scoring merely 57 points last Saturday, but was grounded to just 44 points against the Musketeers Tuesday night

Marquette was drubbed 64-44 by the Musketeers. The 20-point deficit was tied for the program’s widest margin of defeat in Big East play and its 44 points were the lowest total in a Big East game.
