Center Bryce Webster Narrows List to Three Schools

Bryce Webster, a 6-9, 255-pound senior center from Mendota Heights (MN) St. Thomas Academy, has narrowed his list of college to three schools. Webster has had a hectic summer, playing for the Howard Pulley Panthers AAU team this past week in Augusta and in the upcoming AAU Nationals in Orlando. He previously played at the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis July 5-9, the NBA Players Association camp in Richmond at the end of June and the Gopher basketball camp All-Star game.

Bryce Webster, who has received over 50 scholarship offers, has narrowed his list of schools to three. He eliminated Notre Dame, who are recruiting big men Tom Herzog and Luke Harangody and could land both players.

Webster is considering Boston College, Marquette and Minnesota and plans to visit all three schools in the near future. He was named 2005 Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro first-team, as he averaged 21.8 points and 12.1 rebounds per game this past season.

Webster played for Howard Pulley in the Nike Peach Jam, where they finished a disappointing 0-5. They are hoping to bounce back with a strong performance in Orlando.
