Dominic James:
5'11" sophomore, Unanimous Big East Freshman of the Year, leading returning scorer for Marquette and Big East at 15.3 ppg, also dished out 5.3 apg, brings tremendous athleticism and great first step to the basket
Tyler Inda: 6'0" senior from Madison, WI, averaged 3.0 ppg on 40-percent shooting last season, also averages 2.0 apg.

Shooting Guard:
Jerel McNeal:
6'3" sophomore, named to Big East all-rookie team, averaged 11.1 ppg, 2.0 steal per game, and 4.5 rpg, needs to cut down on turnovers, but it appears his all around game has improved a good deal over the off season.
Stephen Sorenson: 6'2" junior from Columbia Heights, MN, stats unavailable as he is a transfer from Anoka Ramsey Community College

Small Forward:
Wesley Matthews, Jr.:
6'5" sophomore, looking to make the biggest statement after sitting for a few games last season due to a stress fracture, looks like his stroke has improved, averaged 9.0 ppg as a freshman.
Marquelle Joyner: 6'3" senior from Muncie, IN, returning starter and All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference selection, averaged 18.0 ppg, 2.0 apg, and 6.0 rpg on 50% shooting last season

Power Forward:
Dan Fitzgerald:
6'9" junior, averaged 5.3 ppg and 2.4 rpg, looks to be a partial replacement for the shooting of Steve Novak (now of the Houston Rockets), can stroke it from long distance or take it to the hole
Leo Moran: 6'7" senior from Mendota, IL, returning starter who averaged 8.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg as a junior

Ousmane Barro:
6'10" junior, averaged 4.4 ppg and 2.8 rpg, looks in early scrimmages to be improved, had some of his best games at the end of previous season, looks to fill rebounding role which will be valuable to the Eagles
Antonio Santos: 6'8" junior from Salvador, Brazil, returning starter and Honorable Mention All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference selection, averaged 11.0 ppg and 6.0 rpg
