Florida Linebacker Pulling in Offers

Speed is an important part of Conference USA. It was on display in a big way last season as speedy wide receivers from the University of Houston and Southern Miss, ran all the way to the CUSA title game. Defenses could not keep up with the wide receiver, and tight end units from either team. Marshall was one of those teams.

Marshall was able to force Southern Miss into six turnovers and hold on to a late win at home, however the game at Houston was a different story. Houston ran and passed their way to over 600 yards of total offense and 63 points. It was quite apparent that Marshall needed more speed at the linebacker position in order to keep up with these offenses.

What better place to look for speed, than South Florida. One player in which the Herd is hot on is highly touted outside linebacker Skai Moore. Moore is a 6'3", 200 pound speedy outside linebacker from the University School of Nova Sout in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

The list of offers is enough to show that Moore is highly sought after. Currently Moore has countless offers, included are schools such as Ole Miss, West Virginia, Vanderbilt and Cincinnati. In total, Moore has 13 offers.

Marshall has also offered. According to Moore, the offer came in late March. His lead recruiter is Jajuan Seider. Moore anticipates stepping in and playing outside linebacker at the next level.

Moore is unsure at this time where he will make his official visits. He said if he had to guess, his leaders are "I'd say West Virginia, Vandy, USF and Rutgers."

When asked what his feelings were when he received that first offer, Moore said, "I was very excited, and I told as many people as I possibly could."
