Big Play Receiver Drawing Attention

When I prospect is asked what some of his strengths are and he says, "my main one is my ability to know how to make big plays," most recruiters will stand up and take note. If that prospect is highly touted and has a 40 time in the sup 4.4's, then they open their eyes even more.

Marshall has offered just such a prospect. A prospect that currently holds nearly ten offers. Those offers include teams such as Florida State, Ohio State and West Virginia. The prospect's lead recruiter from Marshall University is Coach Jajuan Seider. No surprise there, considering the recruit is from South Florida.

Jesus Wilson is a 5'11", 165 pound slot receiver. His 4.45 forty time, and his confidence to go make big plays, has all the big schools keeping a close eye. In addition to his ability to make big plays, Wilson lists the following as his strengths on the football field, "speed, quickness, hands and route running."

Currently, Wilson is unsure if he will take a visit to the Huntington, WV campus, but he is aware of some of the talent currently taking the field at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Wilson knows all about sophomore quarterback to be Rakeem Cato and rising sophomore wide receiver Tommy Shuler. Both players are from south Florida, as is Wilson.

Wilson is a senior to be at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. Currently he is the 86th ranked wide receiver in the country and is carrying three stars.

Does Wilson have a leader, or a top three yet? Actually, he has both. "Florida State is still my number but I've been really interested in OSU lately." In regards to his top three, he lists West Virginia in addition to Florida State and Ohio State.

Marshall currently has a senior starting in the slot receiver spot in Andre Booker.

Wilson is looking forward to his senior year. When asked about how it felt to receive that first scholarship offer he said, "the first offer inspired me to go harder both on the field and in the classroom."
