It should come as very little surprise that Marshall has had four safeties visit in the past month, and already had a commitment from one wide receiver.
Rounding out the official visitor list, until further notice that is, is wide receiver Mark Barr. Barr is currently an unranked wide receiver from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Marshall will graduate three wide receivers, that prior to the emergence of sophomore Tommy Shuler, were the three starters. Aaron Dobson, Antavious Wilson and Andre Snipes- Booker all play for the final time at home on Saturday. Barr is being recruited to replace one of those three.
Barr is 6'0" tall and weighs 173 pounds. He has played both wide receiver and running back, but is being recruited as a wide receiver.
Barr currently has interest from BCS teams such as Boston College, Indiana, and Mississippi State. Barr's lead recruiter from Marshall is running backs coach Jajuan Seider. He is drawing interest from many more FBS teams, including Marshall.
Barr will make his official visit this weekend to Huntington. He will be the only non Junior College Recruit on campus taking an official visit.
