Marshall Looking at JUCO OLineman

Marshall coaches continue to be on the look out for offensive lineman that can step in and help out immediately. Recently the Herd reached out to the West Coast in search of Junior College help for the departing offensive tackles.

Marshall will lose Garrett Scott, Gage Niemeyer, and Jordan Jeffries to graduation this season. According to sources, Marshall has recently offered Pierce College Offensive Tackle, Brandon Mitchell.

Mitchell is currently and unranked tackle, however his recruitment has been picking up in recent weeks as he has heard from Marshall, Bowling Green, and Southern University. Mitchell is a 6'4", 315 pound tackle who is very athletic, and can also play guard. He has been playing on the left side.

Mitchell is a west coast kid, who has never left California. He said he is looking forward to getting out of California and extending his college football career. His goals are, "to get a good education and hopefully play in the National Football League.
