Weekend Recap

The Marshall coaching staff completed a very successful weekend. The Herd welcomed 11 visitors to campus. At the end of the weekend, the Herd had secured three new commitments and confirmed the commitment of another.

Now, a quick recap of the weekend:

The visitors:

Quincey Perdue
Rayjon Simes
Antavis Rowe
Maurice Hall
Quintavious Knight
Brandon Mitchell
Darzil Washington
Raymon Minor
Chad Garrett
Bill Kinney

Of the 11 visitors, Marshall secured three commitments and impressed numerous others.

The three commitments were:

Maurice Hall – Hall is a two star, 6'2.5", 188 pound safety/linebacker. Hall had been interested in UCF before visiting the Marshall campus. Hall is projected to play linebacker at the next level.

Brandon Mitchell – Mitchell is an offensive tackle from Pierce Community College in California. Mitchell may not be as tall as he is listed at 6'4", but he has arms of a player much taller. Mitchell expects to battle for the offensive tackle spot vacated by Garrett Scott.

Antavius Lowe- Lowe could be one of the most underrated players in the class. Lowe is a fast, athletic senior from Washington-Wilkes High School in Washington, Georgia. Lowe is currently rated two stars by scout.com. Lowe is 5'10", 165 pounds.

Marshall expects to have another large visitor list this coming weekend, and then follow that up with another impressive list the following week.
