Markeyvious Adams Profile

2015 Greenwood wide receiver Markeyvious Adams picked up his 7th offer on Thursday. The 6'5 wide receiver talked about his latest offer and latest camp stops which took place in ACC country.

"I just got an offer from Charleston Southern," Adams told us.

On Thursday Adams was in the midst of camp with an ACC school.

"I just left camp at NC State. I'm going to Wake Forest tomorrow."

So how did things go at NC State with the Wolfpack?

"It was good. The coaches said to keep working hard and that I did good out there today."

Adams says that he feels he had his very best performances of the camp circuit at the NFTC event and at Clemson. He was singled out by Scout.com as the top "big" receiver at the NFTC event.

He told us what the Clemson coaches had to say to him.

"They said to call them the first week in July and that they really like me and that they see that I've gotten bigger and faster."

Adams says he and his primary recruiter, coach Jeff Reed, have talked about the Tigers' wide receiver scenario already. There may be a chance at earning an offer and that's why he's set to call wide receivers coach Jeff Scott come July.

An offer from Clemson would make things really interesting being the biggest nearby local school.

So what if the Tigers were to offer Adams? Would they make a big move for him?

"Yes sir they will be in my Top 5 if they do offer."

For now Adams is continuing to work to try and land some more offers leading up to his senior season next year.

Currently Adams' offers are from Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall, NC State, and Old Dominion.
