He will have two seasons to play. He is a thick 6’4”220 pounds and looks more like a linebacker than a basketball player. Edmonds was the 76th ranked JUCO two years ago before signing with Marshall. He averaged 18 points and 4.3 rebounds per game prior to his transfer.
3 – Jay Johnson – Johnson is a 6’7”, 232 pound forward from Versailles, Kentucky. He transferred to Marshall from John Logan College in Illinois. Prior to coming to Marshall he averaged 10.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Johnson should play a big part in the rotation this season.

35 – Austin Loop – Loop is a former walk on from South Webster High School in South Webster, Ohio. Loop earned a scholarship last season. Loop is known as a three point specialist. Loop averaged 3.2 points last year in less than 6 minutes of playing time.

50 – Milan Mijovic – Mijovic is a 6’9”, 260 pound big man from Belgrade, Serbia. He last played at the Secondary Vocational School. Mijovic is a project but could be expected to play big minutes early and often. In his most recent season he averaged a double double and still managed to dish out over 5 assists per game as well.
21 – Aleksa Nikolic – Nikolic is alsor from Serbia. When recruited he was 6’5”, and some reports have him pushing 6’7” tall right now. He weighs just shy of 190 pounds. He showed his talent last season at Electro-Tech School when he averaged 20.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8 assists per game.
5 – Cheikh Sane – Sane is a 6’9”, 225 pound power forward. Sane is a senior this season. He transferred to Marshall last year from Snow College in Utah. 10 – Shawn Smith – Smith is a 6’6”, 228 pound shooting guard from the College of San Francisco. Smith started 15 games last season but would usually set down early on in the half and not return. He still managed to average 7.6 points per game and became a very good outside shooter. Smith will most likely start this season.
