Markel Humphrey Commits To Marshall
The left-handed Markel Humphrey visited Marshall in early September, and has scholarship offers from Western Kentucky, Tulsa, and Arkansas State in addition to Marshall. According to Stockbridge High coach Mark Andrews, Humphrey committed on Wednesday evening. "He'll be a college two guard," coach Mark Andrews said in an interview with Herd Insider. "He's very athletic. He's both a shooter and a scorer. He can find ways to score when things just aren't happening." Humphrey averaged 18 points per game in 2003 for Stockbridge High School. "He feels very, very comfortable with his decision," Andrews added of Humphrey's decision to play at Marshall in 2005.
