Hard Drive: Recruit Visits Planned

With a busy December gone, look for some Marshall football recruits to make official visits in January. Who are they and when are they coming? For Premium suscribers only!

Visits Planned for January:

Now that Marshall coaches know the extent of the NCAA penalties, look for the next three weekends to be busy ones for recruiting. Glancing over the MU football roster and depth chart, we at Herd Insider project that Marshall will look to sign the following; 2 quarterbacks, 1 wide receiver, 2 defensive backs, 1 running back, 2 offensive linemen, 2 defensive linemen and 1 linebacker. Keep in mind there are several players already on campus gaining eligibility. As many as three of them (Bullock, Hargrove, Johnson) could press for playing time next fall.

Several players will be making official visits in January. Among them are; Chris Booker, 6-4 225 DE/LB (pictured above) from Brandon, MS. Booker will visit on January 18th. He is also considering Ole Miss, Southern Miss ad Miss State.
Jamil Tyson 6'0 175 DB from Camden, NJ will visit on January 18th as well. Tyson has official visits lined up to WVU, Pitt and Kent.
Jason Earwood 6'1, 207 Safety from Fayetteville, GA. Earwood recently played in the prestigious GA/FL All-Star game. He has offers from Marshall, MTSU and Georgia Southern. He should visit in January as well.
Tony Palazzo 6-4, 230 DE from Snellville, GA will also visit January 18th. Palazzo has visited Wake Forest and will also visit South Carolina and Clemson.
Marshall is trying to set up a visit with QB Omar Jacobs from Delray Beach, FL. Jacobs -who is 6-3, 220 pounds- is visiting Kansas State on January 18th.
