Herd Adds 19 Commitments, More On The Way

The number is at 17 official signed letters of intent for Marshall, as of noon. Marshall University announced today that more commitments/letters of intent are expected later in the day...

Marshall University's football program has received 17 signed National Letters of Intent as ofnoon, Wednesday. The Thundering Herd is expected to sign additional players later in the day.

Notes: An outstanding lineman at Opelousas H.S. this past season ... has great potential ... recruited by UCLA among others.

Notes: Connected on 283-of-430 passes (67% completion) for a state record 4,654 yards and 52 touchdowns as a senior ... was named the Class 2A "Player-of-the-Year" inKentucky... led Owensboro Catholic to the Class 2A State Championship Game ... threw for 8,124 yards and 87 scores in his prep career ... a finalist for "Mr. Football" in Kentucky.
