"This is what we needed out of an opening game," said second year head coach Royce Chadwick. "It was good to play against other people after beating up on each other all fall."

"As people in attendance could see, we're a lot different team than we were last year," continued Chadwick. "We were sluggish in the first half, but I think we played better as the game went on. That‘s going to happen with new players."

The Thundering Herd play again next Sunday against Ohio AAU . That game tips off at 3 p.m.
