John Inman- 6'5" 315 pound offensive lineman from the Webb School in Knoxville, TN. Inman was the Tennessee Div. II AA lineman of the year. Has offers from several SEC schools.
Britton Colquitt- 6' 2" 177 Punter/Kicker from Bearden HS in Knoxville, TN. Colquitt is both a punter and a place-kicker. Colquitt possess a strong leg and as witnessed by 90% of his kickoffs being touchbacks.
Current verbal commitment, Brian Shope, 6'4" 230 from Portgage, HS, Johnstown, PA will make his official visit this weekend. Shope, who verballed last week, is a great athlete who may be looked at in numerous positions such as TE or H-back.
Bernard Morris 6'4" 190 pounds from Jones HS in Orlando, FL. Morris played QB for his high school team but is being looked at as a WR. Has been called the ‘diamond in the rough' and is gaining recruiting momentum. You know you have talent when other area high school coaches tell recruiters they have to check out this kid.
Marcus Cowan- 5'10" 210 pounds RB/FB from Olympia HS in Orlando FL. Underrated player because this year was moved to fullback and used primarily as a blocker. MU is looking at him as a RB.
Geremy Rodamer- 6'0" 170 from Morgantown HS, Morgantown WV. Rodamer is a multi-talented performer who could be a WR or DB at MU. Was runner-up in the Kennedy award voting for WV Player of the Year. Listed as a top 100 player in the east by the Sporting News.
Herd Insider has not verified that the following two players are visiting this weekend. However, according to reports on theInsiders.com network, they are set to visit Marshall this weekend:
Rueben Jackson- 5'10" 170, Stockton Edison HS, Stockton CA. Jackson is a real speed burner who is a game breaker. Get this: Some schools are recruiting him based on his PUNT RETURN ability alone. Has already visited Arizona State. Rated as the 19th best high school WR in talent-rich California. Could step in a be the Herd punt returner right away.
Michael Hooper- 5'9" 160 Culver City, CA. Hooper runs a 4.4 forty and most likely being looked at as a DB and a punt returner. Size has some recruitiers backing off, but Marshall looks at his speed and sees maybe another Roberto Terrell.
