Edsall Radio Show Debuts Thursday

Head football coach will hold first show at Stamp Student Union.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Randy Edsall Radio Show will make its debut on Thursday at the University of Maryland’s Stamp Student Union.


The one-hour show will begin at 7 p.m. before a live audience from the Baltimore Room which is located on the second floor of the student union. The show can be heard over the Terrapin Sports Radio Network, including flagships WJZ-FM 105.7 and WJZ-AM 1300 in Baltimore, as well as ESPN 980-AM in Washington, D.C.


Edsall and Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday will be on the air taking phone calls from fans, previewing the season and breaking down the home opener against Miami on Monday, Sept. 5. The call-in number for the show is 1-866-950-5225


Fans and students will also be joined by the Maryland Spirit Squad, the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band and Testudo.


In addition to the live broadcast, Edsall will be awarding one student in the audience the opportunity to have his or her books covered for one year. Students can register for the drawing from 6-7 p.m. outside of the Baltimore Room.


The remaining 11 shows regular season shows will take place at Looney’s Pub in either College Park, Md. (8150 Baltimore Avenue) or Fulton, Md. (8180 Maple Lawn Blvd.).
