Zach Bradshaw does a little bit of everything for his Demascus team. The 6-3, 205-pound standout plays primarily at receiver, he you might also see him lining up at quarterback every now and then. His stats prove that he can do many things.
In five games—helping his team to a 4-1 start with a game at Bethesda (MD) Walter Johnson tonight—he has just over 300 yards receiving with 4 touchdowns. While playing quarterback in the ‘Wildcat' formation, he's rushed for 225 yards and another 2 touchdowns. On defense—which is where most of the schools are recruiting him, he has an 35 tackles and an interception.
Maryland was one of the first schools to jump in. He's been impressed with the in-state Terps.
"I've been to Maryland four or five times," Bradshaw said. "I like it a lot. It's close to home. It's convenient for my family to come to games, and things like that. I like the coaches up there. It's still early, so I don't know what I want to do yet."
"All the games I've been to, it's been a really good atmosphere," Bradshaw added. "It's nice to see two top-25 teams playing against each other."
Most schools are recruiting Bradshaw for defense. The only school recruiting him for offense, right now, is Rutgers.
