"Maryland is My Dream School"

2012 senior safety CJ Williams hopes a Maryland offer comes soon.

How did your team do this season?

“We did really good. We made it to the MIAA Championship game but we lost to Gilman.”

How did you do personally?

“I did great man. I had the most tackles all season with 27. I had five tackles for loss. I also had 106 yards between rushing and receiving and had a touchdown.”

What schools are you hearing from?

“Delaward, Rutgers, UCONN, Bucknell and Monmouth.”

Do you have any offers?

“Yes, Bucknell and Monmouth.”

Are there any schools you want to hear from?

Maryland. They are my dream school!”

What is it about the Terps that makes them your dream school?

“I have always been a huge fan. A lot of people I play agaisnt are going there (Kenny Goins, Roman Braglio, etc). I just love playing for a team I always rooted for and it’s close to home.”

What are you looking for in a school?

“Comfortable environment and a proven team.”

Have you been to campus before?

“Oh yea, plenty of times.”

Have you talked to the coaching staff?

“Yes, I spoke with Coach Edsall, but only briefly through email back and forth.”

What type of player are you?

“I am very physical. I am smart. I will do anything for my team. I am also very clutch in key situations, when my team needs a big play or a stop.”

Do you have any official visits planned?

“So far I just have one planned to Monmouth this weekend. I am sure they will start piling on.”

Is there a college or pro player that you pattern your game after?

Eric Weddle of San Diego or John Lynch.”

What do you plan on working on in the offseason?

“You can always improve everywhere. But maybe working on having more fluid hip movement.”
