Logan Commits To Maryland

Abner Logan chooses Maryland over offers from such schools as North Carolina State and Northwestern. Logan took an official visit to Maryland on December 10.

Three star running back and linebacker Abner Logan out of Brookline, Massachusets/Dexter School has committed to Maryland. Logan chose the Terps over schools such as N.C. State and Northwestern.

The talented two-way prospect ran for 823 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior, and finished with 40 tackles and seven sacks on defense as a linebacker. He is expected to come to Maryland as a running back.

Logan is the 19th commit to the 2012 Maryland recruiting class. He is the third player to commit to the class since the end of the regular season.

Maryland head coach Randy Edsall knows a thing or two about Massachusetts running back. Jordan Todman--his starting running back the year he led UConn to its first BCS bowl--was also a Massachusetts native.
