NJ OL to plan on own

Even with an older brother enrolling in Michigan, Jeremy Zuttah wants to make his own name at a different school.

While his brother will be playing for Michigan, J.P. Stevens (NJ) offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah does not plan to follow suit this year.

"It is too cold up there for me," says the 6-foot-4, 280 pounder who has a list of nine schools right now. "Ohio State, Notre Dame, Boston College, Iowa, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia, and NC State are my schools right now. I want to wait until around September to limit it to five and make those my official visits."

Jeremy is using big brother Jeff in the recruiting process to find out about schools.

"He helps me out if I don't know much about a school. I want a place with a good education, because I know I will not be able to play the rest of my life. I also want to play big-time football where we can win a conference championship or a national title. I also want to like the kids I play with and coaches around me."

Zuttah plans to take his time with recruiting, and with twelve offers, he has the ability to do just that. All of his favorites, outside of Ohio State and Notre Dame, have offered.
