"I just narrowed it to eight to ten schools. With as many teams as I have offering me, it helped to get focused," says the 6-foot-2, 228 pounder. "I was confused in the beginning, but narrowing it down helps."
Toal lists his favorites currently as Penn State, Notre Dame, Miami, Boston College Maryland, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Virginia Tech.
"Those are the schools where I can see myself playing, and my dad and I agreed on all of them. My dad is a pretty big part of everything in recruiting, because I look to him for guidance. He has sent plenty of players to the next level, like my brother to Boston College."
His brother is also helping, but not completely pushing Toal to follow him with the Eagles. Toal himself says it is too early to commit because there is too much to learn.
"I will wait most likely to the end, but it will at least be until the end of football season."
