NJ RB Has Favorite

When you see the measurements of 6'2" and just about 260 lbs., you can think of maybe two positions at the collegiate level and one of them is a bit of a stretch. What isn't a stretch is at FB, where Chris Pressley is a perfect fit. And, it just doesn't fit his body, but most definitely his mind. He can talk technical with you, but when it comes down to it, he would rather smack you in the mouth.

Chris Pressley isn't your typical running back prospect. "I'm what they call a big back," Pressley said. "I'm 6-1 and 264 pounds coming at you."

The standout running back, who also plays on the defensive line, is getting lots of recruiting attention. "I have 31 offers as of now," he said. "I'm just trying to narrow it down some. I'm definitely looking hard at Maryland. If I had to pick out one that I like most, it's probably them. Then after that it's North Carolina, Indiana, Wisconsin, teams like that. They've all offered me and I like those ones the best for now."

Pressley is also considering offers from several other programs, including Rutgers. "They're still on my list," he said. "I'm going to try getting there in August and maybe catch one of their games this season. They were one of my first choices because they were the first to show a lot of interest. I've met Coach Schiano and they have a nice campus. Rutgers is on my list but I just don't know if I want to stay this close to home."
