BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The Bobcats (30-2) are making their first trip to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Northeast Conference Championship and earning an automatic bid. Do not be fooled by the "automatic bid" part, Quinnipiac has not lost a game since 2012 and are on a 22-game winning streak.
WHAT TO WATCH
One potential matchup problem for the Terrapins could be depth. Quinnipiac has a very balanced rotation featuring ten players that average close to double-figure minutes, while Maryland's lineup has been limited due to injury.
Maryland holds a significant size advantage, so look for the Terps to take advantage of their height and dominate on the glass.
KEEP AN EYE ON
Senior guard Felicia Barron is the two-time SEC defensive player of the year and ranks seventh in the country in steals averaging 3.5 per game. Barron is also Quinnipiac's leading scorer averaging 13.4 points per game.
Tip-off is at 11:15 a.m. from the Comcast Center in College Park, Md.
