Mechanicsville (Va.) Atlee offensive guard Alec Eberle hold offers from Maryland, Old Dominion and Connecticut and after his visit to College Park on Tuesday the Terps are high on his list.
"Maryland is definitely at the top," said Eberle. "I don't have a specific order right now, but Maryland is definitely there since I've gotten to know that program."
The 6-foot-4 ½, 270-pound Eberle has been on campus before, but Tuesday was his first time watching Maryland practice.
"I really liked getting to watch the team practice," said Eberle. "I have seen the school so it was good getting to see how the team acted, they really work together."
"I definitely like how they play as a team," said Eberle. "They really work together out there and it shows, they play really well together."
It has been a busy spring for Eberle who visited Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Florida State in just three days over the weekend.
He also plans to visit Old Dominion on Saturday and hopes to get to more schools in mid-May.
Eberle finished last season with 28 solo tackles, 10 sacks, and five forced fumbles on defense. On the other side of the ball, he had 30 pancake blocks.
