He talks about his experience, what he is looking for in his future school and more with FoxSportsNEXT.
Bedell on how camp is going:
"[Camp] is going good, Its a really fun camp. We are only half way through, but I am really enjoying it.
On how recruiting is going:
"Its fun, but its also little bit stressful because I have to pick a school relatively soon I think as to where I want to go. Its fun, but there are a lot of options and I am just keeping my options open right now."
What offers he has:
"I have offers from Connecticut, Temple and Rutgers and hopefully Maryland today."
Who he has been hearing from at Maryland & what they are saying
"Well my recruiter is Keith Dudzinski, he is the linebacker coach. We talked today and he said if I do well hopefully things will go the right way… that's really it."
What sets him apart from other players:
"My size isn't bad, obviously I can get bigger. I am a fast guy, I have a good change of direction and I am a pretty good pass rusher…I think my technique is a little better than a lot [of players] and my motor. "
What he does to work on his technique:
"I work with a guy back in my hometown at least three times a week and we have been doing that since I was sophomore."
If he picks up a MD offer, where would they fall on his list:
"Everyone is pretty even right now, but I mean considering they are going into the Big Ten… that's a big plus to play at the highest competition in my mind and I know it's a really good academic school so there are a lot of upsides."
What he likes about the Big Ten :
"I know its a great academic conference and its almost unmatched football conference… its some of the biggest stadiums and some of the best players come out of this conference and I want to play at the highest level."
Looking both MD and Rutgers, who are both moving to the Big Ten, does one have the edge? :
"I like both campuses and I like both coaches a lot right now as far as I have seen. They are both going into the Big Ten, which is a big plus. It really just comes down to the academics and which one feels more like home."
On what he plans to study:
"I think its going to be something in business."
If he knows about Maryland's business program:
All I know is its really good. I haven't seen anything, but I know its really good so I cant wait to check it out
First time on campus? Planning to Take a Tour?
"Yes it is…yes hopefully at the end of the day."
Plans for the rest of the summer:
"I think am going to go to the Virginia camp next week and that will wrap up my camp circuit."
Timeline for a decision:
"Hopefully by the end of the season. I don't really want to have it over my head while I am playing, but I think I will know when I know."
If location will be a factor:
"I don't want to go too far away, you know I think it will just feel right…I don't think location is the biggest factor for me at all."
