REISTERSTOWN, Md. -- Franklin High School class 2016 receiver Steven Smothers went off for over 300 total yards and four touchdowns in a playoff win against Westminster Nov. 15, showing why he is already building a national reputation. But while schools in the SEC and Pac-12 have caught his eye, he's particularly high on his hometown school as well, Maryland.
After his team's 49-14 victory -- in which Smothers had over 150 receiving yards and a touchdown, close to 100 rushing yards and a score, a 73-yard kick return for a touchdown, and a 60-yard interception return for a fourth score -- the Franklin dynamo broke it all down for TT.
