Turgeon, Terps Prepare for Trip to Tropics

COLLEGE PARK, Md.--Maryland coach Mark Turgeon talks about the Terps' defensive struggles, the starting rotation, adding depth, and the team's upcoming trip to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands for the 2013 Paradise Jame Tournament.

Maryland's trip to the Bahamas over the summer was partly for basketball, but mostly for fun. The team enjoyed time at the pool and hanging out on the water slides, and still managed to squeeze in some hoops.

Now the Terps return to the Tropics for the 2013 Paradise Jam Tournament under much different conditions. Maryland (1-2) is off to a rocky start with its only win coming against a first-year Division I program Abilene Christian. Head Coach Mark Turgeon is hoping a change of scenery can turn things around. He discussed the poor defensive effort, starting rotation, and the Paradise Jam Tournament in the video below.
