SPRINGDALE, Md. – The DMVElite Tip-off Classic at Flowers High School featured some of the top talent in the region, though one of the more intriguing prospects, at least from a Maryland standpoint, was a recruit who was just on hand to take in the action.
St. John's (Washington, D.C.) sophomore Anthony Cowan figures to be one of the most heavily sought-after point guards in the DMV before it's all said and done, but the 5-foot-10, 160-pounder already holds a Maryland offer. It's a school he's particularly high on early, and he has developed a rapport with the coaches and players on the team. See what he has to say in the video below.
