COLLEGE PARK, Md.--Maryland (5-4) opens its final ACC season on Thursday as it faces Boston College (3-6) at 7:00 pm in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

The Terps are coming off a heartbreaking 77-75 loss to George Washington Sunday at the BB&T Classic. Despite a slow start, Maryland climbed its way out of a 14-point second half deficit before the Colonials' Maurice Creek hit the game-winning three with just 0.6 seconds remaining.

With the loss on Sunday, Maryland is now on a two game losing streak as they head to Chestnut Hill to its first ACC opponent of the season.

The Eagles are also coming into the game on a two-game losing streak after losing to Purdue, 88-67, on Dec. 4 and USC, 78-62, last Sunday.

Don't be fooled by the Eagles record, there is plenty of talent on this Boston College team. Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon knows he will have his hands full with two of the ACC's best shooters: Oliver Hanlan, who ranks sixth in the conference with 19.2 points per game, and Ryan Anderson, who is ninth in the conference with 18 points per game and leads the Eagles with an average of 6.4 rebounds a game.

Turgeon breaks down his plan to get the Terps back to their winning ways, how he plans on neutralizing the Eagles' talented shooters, the play of Jonathan Graham, and more in the video below.
