Freshman point guard Lexi Brown scored 20 points in Maryland's 76-73, Elite Eight win against No. 3-seed Louisville on Tuesday night. With the win, the Terps advance to their first Final Four since 2006, where they will face No. 1-seed Notre Dame on Sunday.
Maryland will get another shot at knocking off the undefeated Fighting Irish, after coming up just short in a 87-83 decision to Notre Dame on Jan. 27 at the Comcast Center in College Park.
Brown had just nine points, three assists, and three turnovers in the Terps' four-point loss to the Irish, but since then the freshman point guard has come into her own and heads into Sunday's game ready for the challenge.
She talks about her experience, the win over Louisville, facing Notre Dame, and more, in the interview below.
