TOWSON, Md. -- Calvert Hall cornerback Dionte Austin and his teammates just returned from a long 7-on-7 tour through the Carolinas, and it allowed the top 2015 defensive back a chance to see some of his standout suitors, including Wake Forest and Duke. The Blue Devils, in particular, are intriguing to Austin, who landed an offer from them during the evaluation period.
Besides Duke and Wake, Austin said Indiana, Rutgers and Maryland round out his top five, with RU holding significant appeal. The hometown Terps, which Austin and Calvert Hall will visit June 21 for a 7-on-7, are right in the thick of things as well what with area recruiter Keith Dudzinski keeping in close contact.
Following one more round of visits/camps, Austin plans on making a July decision.
