BETHESDA, Md. -- Avalon class of 2016 receiver Trevon Diggs, the brother of current Maryland wideout Stefon Diggs, just transferred from Wootton to Avalon. Diggs explained his move to the private school ranks, where his game is at and also the current state of his recruitment.
Diggs is quickly approaching 20 offers and has verbals from programs in the SEC, Big Ten and ACC, among others. Florida State was the most recent to pull through, while Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Penn State, Maryland and more are in the game.
The only schools Diggs has visited before are Maryland, which he's seen more times than he can remember and will be back at this weekend, and PSU. He's planning to see Florida later this summer.
