Rising Star Harvey In Touch With Terps

HYATTSVILLE, Md. -- DeMatha class of 2017 guard/wing D.J. Harvey was one of the youngest players at the Victor Oladipo & Ty Lawson All-American camp July 10, but he more than held his own. It's obvious why the rising Stags star already holds a holds a handful of offers and is on the radar of some of the country's top programs.

HYATTSVILLE, Md. -- DeMatha class of 2017 guard/wing D.J. Harvey was one of the youngest players at the Victor Oladipo & Ty Lawson All-American camp July 10, but he more than held his own. It's obvious why the rising Stags star already holds a holds a handful of offers and is on the radar of some of the country's top programs.

Maryland, for its part, has been in close contact with Harvey, an Alabama native. Harvey said he's looking forward to developing a relationship with head coach Mark Turgeon and monitoring how the Terps do in the Big Ten. That said, he has plenty of elite programs on his mind early, including UNC, Syracuse, Kentucky, Arizona and others.
