WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Archbishop Carroll (Washington, D.C.) took on Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, Va.) Sept. 27, a game which the latter won, 21-0. After the game, we were able to catch up with highly-recruited class of 2016 offensive tackle Richard Merritt, who claims 25 offers. Merritt seems to be warming up to the hometown school, Maryland, though he's still wide open in his recruitment. All the major players like Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma, Florida, Penn State and others are after him.
