COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Randy Edsall discussed his team's first home Big Ten matchup against Ohio State Oct. 4. The Buckeyes present a formidable challenge on both sides of the ball, and UMD's head coach said the defense has to be on its toes. Edsall also said he was pleased with UMD's effort last week against Indiana, and how all three units put out solid efforts. He specifically mentioned Cole Farrand's play, Stefon Diggs' and Deon Long's breakout, Brad Craddock's continued development, the offensive line, and how the offense sustained drives. Edsall talked about the quarterback situation with backup Caleb Rowe stepping up last week, too. Naturally, he did not answer questions regarding injuries to C.J. Brown, Matt Robinson and others.
