COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- On media day, Maryland men's basketball coach Mark Turgeon said he "loves his team," and it's a cohesive group with a lot of potential. Turgeon specifically discussed Evan Smotrycz's injury, Melo Trimble's potential, Damonte Dodd's improvement, Jake Layman's defense and also what some of the new players like Richaud Pack, Dion Wiley, Jared Nickens and Michael Cekovsky bring to the table. He talked about the difference between the ACC and Big Ten, the change to the "motion" offense, the expectations for Dez Wells, what Robert Carter brings to the table and more.
