COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon addressed the media Nov. 19, ahead of the Terps' Nov. 20 game against Fordham at 7:30 p.m. in the Xfinity Center. He said his team, while it did a better job boxing out against Central Connecticut State, needs to improve defensively. He mentioned that the frontcourt with Damonte Dodd, Jon Graham and Michal Cekovsky is coming along, but they need to be better run protectors. Turgeon also praised Melo Trimble's and Jared Nickens' overall progress, while noting Richaud Pack's defensive presence.
