Turgeon Lauds 'D,' Offense A Work In Progress

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon gives his postgame address following the Terps' 66-50 victory against Fordham Nov. 20.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Following a 66-50 victory Nov. 20 at the Xfinity Center, Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon said his team executed defensively and did a better job of finishing offensively in the second half. Turgeon commented that Melo Trimble does have to settle down at point, but will improve, while he praised Michal Cekovsky's overall play and how Jared Nickens guarded. The headman went on to say that Richaud Pack does "everything right" and is playing at a high level. However, Turgeon admitted there's plenty his team needs to work on, namely rebounding and zone offense.
