COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Jake Layman, Richaud Pack and Jared Nickens discussed the Terps' 66-50 win against Fordham Nov. 20. Layman said that while the team did well defensively, they need to stop watching shots and crash the glass. He also praised the play of Michal Cekovsky.
Pack said he tried to bring veteran leadership, and in the locker room at halftime he and several others addressed the team and its lack of execution offensively. He also talked about doing the importance little things right.
Nickens said he thought he played better defensively, but has to hit his open shots. He thought the squad as a whole did well on defense and got better executing the offense in the second half.
