COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland senior quarterback C.J. Brown discussed the Terps' 41-38 loss to Rutgers Nov. 29. Brown was asked plenty about UMD's failed 4th-and-1 conversion late during the fourth quarter, and said no one questioned the play call (a run to Brandon Ross) and the offense has to be able to get a yard, regardless of the call. The quarterback said RU didn't do much differently defensively in the second half; UMD just failed to execute. Brown also said it was a tough, emotional loss to take on senior day, but now the Terps have to regroup and get ready for a bowl game.
